One of the reasons I live herePosted 10 March 2009 by Bob Chapman
The snow yesterday had one silver lining. Well, maybe a pink lining would be more accurate.
This is looking to the northeast from my living room at the Cascade Mountains. The sun is setting in the west, as is its custom. The brilliant color was the light from the sunset reflecting off new snow on the mountains.
Now, if we could have done this without the snow you see in the foreground, you could say it would have been a perfect ending to the perfect day.
