The thoughts coherent and rambling of a technical communicator living by the banks of Possession Sound on the Salish Sea.
It finally happened. It finally worked. My blog is hosted on my own domain using WordPress software.
One of the resulting changes is that I am now able to create posts in Microsoft® Word 2007, as this post was. Blogger would never let Word sync with it. So, no more using a Java-enabled web interface for me. (Java: Now every computer can run slower.) I still do not know how using Word will affect including YouTube videos in my posts, but there is plenty of time to find out.
Meanwhile, I will be moving features from my Blogspot blog to my new blog. This means some silly Twitter posts or the like as I discover some switch was turned on that I didn’t know about.
Welcome me to the 21st century!
